World Class Sounds The OCTAPAD SPD-30 includes more than 600 drum and percussion sounds from around the world, suitable for covering every musical style. Accommodated in 50 kits, the sounds are dynamic and expressive, spanning the range from traditional, to contemporary to exotic. You can customize sounds with built-in controls on board to modify tuning, mute, attack, pitch, sweep, and more. You can also splice two sounds per sensor to create an infinite number of sound combinations. Based on roland's world-leading technology, the SPD-30's multi-effects processor will take your performance to the next level. It carries 30 types of multi-effects on board, plus EQ, limiter, and seven types of Ambience. Phrase Loop Function The "Phrase Loop" function on board the SPD-30 is a powerful creative tool that allows you to quickly record your performance in real time. You can over-record up to three layers per sentence, and store 50 sentences internally. Connect the optional shift pedals for hassle-free recording and hands-free operation. You can also save your phrase information to the optional USB stick. Advanced Shooting Technology The OCTAPAD SPD-30 benefits from the most advanced V-Drums shooting technology. Each pad is an isolated, separate unit, providing the highest level of sensitivity with complete crosstalk rejection. In addition to this, you can connect four dual sensors, plus hi-hat controller (compatible with Roland FD-8, VH-11) to create a mini battery set with external sensors (KD-/PD-/PDX-/CY-Roland series).
